Floating Trunk - Flip Flop Trunk

The Flip Flop trunk kit is a bolt-on or weld on truly universal hinge kit that fastens to the trunk hinge, bolts to the substructure of the lid. This complete system utilizes the factory latch and lock for a quick painless installation and proper trunk alignment. Similar to the Flip Flop hood, it will open and close like a normal trunk. When your ready to flip it, simply release the anchor pin. With a touch, your trunk lid is in the flip or floating position! This awesome mod is ideal for any show vehicle and/or daily driver. Each hinge system is fabricated from high grade alloy steel with hardened hinge pins.
